Working in our call-center environment, the Destination Wedding / Group Travel Experts assist customers with planning and booking their travel arrangements. This may include assisting customers by researching and helping choose a destination as well as booking airline tickets, hotel reservations, ground transportation and exciting activities. A love of travel and experience visiting other parts of the world are fundamental requirements for success in this field. This is a sales position working with Wedding couples, their guests and other clients needing travel arrangements.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet each customer both professionally and courteously and outstanding customer service.
  • Build rapport with the customer and assist in selecting the destinations and services that match their needs. Needs are assessed via the discovery process (i.e. asking questions).
  • Demonstrate the ability to generate sales and up-sell product and services by “painting the picture” and assisting in planning out the trip to maximize the customer experience.
  • Take responsibility for solving issues in a timely fashion with satisfaction and a sense of urgency. Follow-up on issues to ensure that issues are resolved.
  • Use sales tools to invoke a sense of urgency to get the customer to commit; follow up to close and book the sale and process payment from the customer.
  • Demonstrate the ability to balance customer service with sales results.
  • Provide to the customer a thorough, detailed recap of the services being provided along with properly thanking them for their business and inviting them to use our service again.
  • Research and book travel arrangements for customers including Destination Weddings, Honeymoons, family vacations, business trips, etc.

Qualifications:

We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic and energetic professionals who are detail- and customer-oriented and money-motivated. You will bring previous inbound/outbound phone sales experience and high-touch customer service phone skills to the team. Additionally, you must be an adept salesperson, possessing superb computer skills, and an ability to communicate effectively.

  • Strongly prefer candidates with a degree or certificate in travel, hospitality, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of travel planning experience with strong knowledge of Mexico, Caribbean, Hawaii.
  • Previous destination wedding and honeymoon experience with strong attention to detail and experience with booking groups.
  • Previous outbound calling experience.

  • Works with Suppliers – wholesalers, hotels, tour and activity companies - to obtain Group Agreement proposals and Contracts
  • Develops preferred vendors for group needs by markets – Las Vegas and Los Angeles – transportation, tours and activities, etc.
  • Provides Group Travel Expert with Group proposals – hotel info, pricing information always seeking best available pricing in the marketplace
  • Builds Group Booking Engines
  • Responsible for all Group deadlines – final payments, rooming lists, accounting reconciliations
  • Makes individual travel bookings with Suppliers – air, land, activities
  • Responds directly to couples and their guests once accommodations needs have been established.  Answers phones calls and emails assisting clients with booking their travel needs and offering them additional commissionable services – show tickets, tours, etc.
  • Works with clients and suppliers to resolve any issues or complaints
  • Offer advice on the destinations – strong knowledge of Las Vegas preferred – knowledge of Los Angeles a plus and be knowledgeable about making air, lodging, transportation and activity recommendations including bachelor/ette parties, group transportation

This position is consultative and requires a high level of organization, focus, commitment, consistency, and excellent communication skills. Driven to succeed, you must have the ability to prioritize and identify the opportunities that will drive interaction between our venue partners and the brides and grooms you represent (such as a Real Estate agent drives a sense of emotional connection and sense of urgency). Establishing a sales strategy, you will create an ongoing pipeline of opportunities to support the goals and expectations established.

In order to provide premium service to our brides and grooms, you must become knowledgeable of the venues in the area and be willing to continuously educate yourself. You will be accountable for providing appointments for the brides and grooms with venues that will ideally lead to bookings with our partners.

We are seeking a strong, enthusiastic, extremely organized, goal oriented individual with proven telephone sales experience to reach out to engaged couples and provide support and services, by connecting them to our venue partners who offer event related services. The ability to prioritize and identify the bride and groom opportunities that will drive interaction between venue partners and couples. This opportunity requires a self-starter who is willing to accept coaching, able to educate themselves on the industry, and who enjoys working with consumers, venues and colleagues to create a win-win-win scenario.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver a strong, well-rehearsed (practiced) value proposition to the brides/grooms
  • Conduct face-to-face or telephone needs analysis consultations with brides and grooms and establish value in the service you offer
  • Manage large group of brides and grooms through planning process within sales funnel
  • Utilize strong understanding of sales cycle and pipeline to achieve and exceed personal revenue goals
  • Effectively utilize and navigate internal data and systems, such as Salesforce.com, to identify venue matches for couples
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the wedding industry within designated territory
  • Manage both B2B and B2C relationships
  • Attend B2B and B2C industry events and establish identity of the company within your market
  • Make high volume of 'cold calls' and heavy outbound calls
  • Consistently reach and exceed revenue goals
  • Problem-solve on behalf of the wedding parties and venues
  • Establish a strong engagement, be persuasive, communicative, and inspire and motivate couples
  • Maintain a “can-do” attitude with an ability to deliver strong sales narratives
  • Positively and creatively handle rejection with optimism
  • Develop rapport with a genuine approach towards sales. Connect quickly to the brides/grooms
  • Take direction and coaching with enthusiasm and a focus toward learning new approaches
  • Be a team-player who can work well in tandem with other reps through strong positive communication

  • Maintain a high level of integrity and personal  accountability to the team's mission
  • Time, territory and pipeline management
  • Use of a discovery process to quickly determine customer needs, including location, dates, number of people, travel needs, etc., to offer assistance and solutions
  • Representation as liaison between couples and venues to ensure a couple’s needs are met; schedule appointments, obtain contracts, etc. 
  • Be available to customers and vendors when needed
  • Help support the growth of the company through the booking and facilitation of weddings by helping to establish Ever After as a leader in the industry
  • Make calls and send emails to registered and unregistered couples to deliver value statement and earn their trust and business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years B2C and B2B outside sales experience
  • Experience representing and selling an intangible product or service – such as wedding or event industry, interactive marketing, consulting services, or residential real estate
  • Ability to succeed; achieve short and long term goals and thrive in a start-up environment where strategy, tactics, processes, system design, and brand and cultural identity are all in developmental stages
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce.com) tools and applications for mining, prioritizing, reporting and sales pipeline management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, team player, leader, motivator, mentor, flexible; detail and deadline-oriented and results-driven
  • Strong prospecting/cold-calling skills
  • Verbal and written communication, organization, time management and project management skills
  • Strong negotiation, budget management, and interpersonal skills with all levels of management
  • Maintain high level of integrity and personal accountability
  • Must be willing and able to attend networking events and industry events
